We’d like to say a HUGE thank you to the more than 300 of you who entered our 90th anniversary #MyMerrythought campaign.
Thank you to every single one of you who took the time to share your memories and pictures with us. We received entries from countries as far as New Zealand, Canada, Japan and Australia and it’s lovely to see just how far the Merrythought teddy bear love goes. We read about tough times that your teddy bears have helped you through, how you’ve celebrated huge milestone occasions with your Merrythought bears by your side, and how your furry friend has made every ordinary day that little bit brighter.
We’re pleased to announce that the winner of the limited-edition 90th anniversary teddy bear is the lucky Lucy Harwood, who was chosen at random from all the entries.
We absolutely loved Lucy’s beautiful replica photograph of her grandson, George, in the same position as her father, Alfred, with the same Merrythought ‘Bingie’ teddy bear, 86 years apart.
And here is baby George with his whole Merrythought collection!
We displayed your memories in our shop in Ironbridge on our 90th birthday, and here are just some of the fantastic entries we received.
